Outlook - help with email



OUTLOOK EXPRESS SETUP INSTRUCTIONS

  • In the menu goto Tools|Accounts|Mail
  • Double-click on account to update
  • Goto the servers tab
  • Replace "Incoming mail(POP3)" with pop3.datamine.net
  • Replace "Outgoing mail(SMTP)" with smtp.datamine.net
  • Check "My server requires authentication"
  • Press the Setting button next to "My server requires authentication"
  • Choose "Use same settings as my incoming mail server"
  • Press OK to close "Outgoing Mail Server" Dialog
  • Make sure that "Log on using Secure Password Authentication" is not checked
  • Press OK to close your Mail Account's Properties mailbox

OUTLOOK SETUP INSTRUCTIONS

  • In the Menu goto Tools|Services
    (NOTE: If your don't see Services under the tools menu, but you do see Accounts, please follow the instructions given for Outlook Express)
  • Double-Click Internet E-mail account
  • Goto the Server tab
  • Replace "Incoming mail(POP3)" with pop3.datamine.net
  • Replace "Outgoing mail(SMTP)" with smtp.datamine.net
  • Check "My server requires authentication"
  • Press the Setting button next to "My server requires authentication"
  • Choose "Use same settings as my incoming mail server"
  • Press OK to close "Outgoing Mail Server" Dialog
  • Make sure that "Log on using Secure Password Authentication" is not checked
  • Press OK to close your Mail Account's Properties mailbox
  • Press OK to close the Services Dialog
  • Close your Outlook and restart Outlook
