Outlook - help with email
OUTLOOK EXPRESS SETUP INSTRUCTIONS
- In the menu goto Tools|Accounts|Mail
- Double-click on account to update
- Goto the servers tab
- Replace "Incoming mail(POP3)" with pop3.datamine.net
- Replace "Outgoing mail(SMTP)" with smtp.datamine.net
- Check "My server requires authentication"
- Press the Setting button next to "My server requires authentication"
- Choose "Use same settings as my incoming mail server"
- Press OK to close "Outgoing Mail Server" Dialog
- Make sure that "Log on using Secure Password Authentication" is not checked
- Press OK to close your Mail Account's Properties mailbox

(NOTE: If your don't see Services under the tools menu, but you do see
Accounts, please follow the instructions given for Outlook Express)
- Double-Click Internet E-mail account
- Goto the Server tab
- Replace "Incoming mail(POP3)" with pop3.datamine.net
- Replace "Outgoing mail(SMTP)" with smtp.datamine.net
- Check "My server requires authentication"
- Press the Setting button next to "My server requires authentication"
- Choose "Use same settings as my incoming mail server"
- Press OK to close "Outgoing Mail Server" Dialog
- Make sure that "Log on using Secure Password Authentication" is not checked
- Press OK to close your Mail Account's Properties mailbox
- Press OK to close the Services Dialog
- Close your Outlook and restart Outlook
